Safety on the Front Lines

1. Safety On the Front Lines

JD Ovalle is a lineman at Lubbock Power & Light who helps provide power to Lubbock residents and spreading safety throughout the community. It’s never too early to start talking about safety. Ovalle, along with some of his fellow linemen participated in various Power to the Pupils Electrolab presentations, a science demo that engages LISD elementary school students and educates them on power and electricity. 2. Celebrating Our Community Heroes: Catholic Charities of Lubbock

Over this past year we celebrated a few of our community heroes and their work in Lubbock. This included Sabrina Robbins, the program director from Catholic Charities of Lubbock.
