Saving money doesn’t have to be time-consuming or expensive. This year, you can achieve your resolution to save more money by remembering your ABCs.

Air Filters
Change your air filters every two to three months. Clean air filters help your heating and cooling system run more efficiently and help keep allergens and dust out.

Bulbs
Replace at least one incandescent bulb with an LED bulb each month. LED bulbs last 25 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs and use 90 percent less energy.

Caulking
Check for air leaks around your windows and doors and seal them with caulk and weather-stripping. ENERGY STAR estimates homeowners can save up to $200 a year in heating and cooling costs by closing leaks in their homes and adding insulation.
