Conservation Tips

Lubbock Power & Light believes that choice and competition has kept Lubbock's electric rates among the lowest in the state. However, the high cost of fuel to generate power makes it important that all of us work to conserve electricity.

Heating and Air Conditioning have some of the largest impacts to your electric cost.  The recommended thermostat settings for the Summer is from 78 to 82 degrees and in the Winter from 65 to 70 degrees.

Follow the links for tips in the right margin and below on how you can keep your energy bill as low as possible.
